The artist creates free-form shapes by covering the balloon art with washi paper and gluing it together. Each piece of washi has its own unique expression depending on its material, and can also be used as a lighting fixture by placing lights inside. The idea was inspired by the traditional technique of creating patterns on wet washi paper by dripping drops of water on it during the production process. He considered washi as "a material that constructs free form with fibers," and sought a new form of washi.
